The Brief


We teamed up with Samaritans to create a series of online safety animated videos that tackled a tough topic – staying safe online. The online safety animated videos were designed to be impactful and shareable, and aimed at young people aged 18-25. The goal was to broaden the reach of Samaritan’s Online Harms campaign and to help young people stay safe online when dealing with self-harm and suicide-related content.

Our Response


We wanted to make sure the animations didn’t feel preachy or boring, so we put in a lot of effort to ensure they were relatable and genuine. We tested and refined them to make sure they would resonate with the target audience and encourage them to engage with the extensive resources available on Samaritan’s website. To keep things consistent, we used elements of Samaritan’s brand colour palette and illustrative style, but brought them into our own world.

We’re proud to say that the online safety animated videos were a huge success! They were shared far and wide online, and viewers were encouraged to click through to Samaritan’s website for more information. We’re thrilled that we were able to help young people stay safe online and raise awareness of Samaritan’s incredible resources.
